My Trip to Seattle

Last week I made a trip to Seattle to see my Grandpa Joe, Mimi, and Aunt Claire.
Here are some of my discoveries...

It rains in Seattle...sometimes a lot

I like touching sand, but not cold ocean water

Baths really aren't too bad...can you see my little smile?

I like watching TV... Ina Garten with my Mimi, the military channel with my Grandpa Joe

Best of all was getting to spend time with my family.

Tulips

Can you believe all the tulips? Neither could I.

My Mom and Grandpa Joe came prepared to take many pictures. Here I am getting ready to pose (with some assistance...I really am working on sitting up on my own).

Posing can get a little exhausting...especially when there are so many photographers.

We walked all throughout the fields of tulips.
I even stood in them

You might wonder if anyone could ever tire of seeing beautiful tulips...I might have...
So my Mimi introduced me to a new friend...an alpaca

My new friend entertained me (for a couple of minutes)

And then I saw more tulips.

Sometimes Tasha gets a little confused about which toys are hers and which toys are mine(she seems to like Sophie just as much as I do).

We're friends as long as I'm not crying--it makes her nervous and her legs start shaking.

SHHHHHHHHHH....

My Dad is studying for what he says is one of the biggest tests of his life. I'm trying to help him by being quiet.

But sometimes I think he gets a little distracted by me...

...even when I'm sleeping

Lately I've been learning so many new things

like how entertaining Easter baskets can be (especially the paper grass)

and that I much prefer glass over plastic bottles (my Mom doesn't want you to worry--I'm not drinking fat free milk).

I'm even trying to walk...

...just kidding,
I just wanted to show you my pretty dress!

So many new things for both me and my Dad to learn,
but lucky for me I have longer than April 27th to prepare
