Dear Mom and Dad,
Thank you so much for my new special blanket, which I've heard you both call my "straight jacket." I can now sleep peacefully again (in 4 hour intervals, in stead of 2) now that I am once again tightly swaddled. You see, I outgrew all the swaddling blankets you used to use and as a result was able to get out minutes after you wrapped me up. The second my hand reached my face, I woke up (you see for some reason when I'm sleeping my hands do crazy things if they aren't tightly wrapped to the side of my body--like take out my binkie, or hit my face). This meant I was waking up frequently (and I guess that also means you were waking up frequently, I know, like seven times a night--sorry Mom, I guess Dad can sleep through my cries at night). What can I say, I'm getting stronger. But boy, this new blanket does the trick by using something called...velcro...absolutely amazing (and I know you both totally agree)!
Love,
Anne
